Are we there yet?

Yesterday was definitely one of those days where I felt like I was taking two steps forward only to take three steps back. Work was rough, it was hot, and my kitchen sink is filled with dishes...again. I have a list of things that need to get done this weekend but we'll see how much motivation I'm able to muster, especially since all Melodie wants to do is cuddle. I'm ready to fast forward to when we're finally ahead like everyone and their mother keeps telling me will happen. At least I don't tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine like I'd really really really like to.
